Britta is the Founder of Tara’s Wonderworld. Britta is a perfectionist and very passionate about customer service. This is why most of your messages are still replied by her. What makes Britta particularly happy though are the photos from customers with their wonderful decorations!
The Story
After a successful corporate career and 2 small children, Britta decided to focus on something she is passionate about. Her own Mom had already created wonderful, elaborate decorations on her birthdays and she wanted to do the same for her kids. When looking for inspiration for her son’s first birthday she could only find boring, tacky or expensive decorations. That is how the idea for Tara’s Wonderworld was born. Britta especially discovered her love for balloon garlands as a great way of creating an impact at an affordable cost.
With an initial budget of £300 Britta set up Tara’s Wonderworld in 2018 and started selling on Etsy. Her balloon garlands and sculptures soon became popular and in 2019 Kate joined. For the first few months, Kate and Britta were still sitting together on the bedroom floor preparing orders. Since then a lot has changed. In 2020 Emily and Hallie joined the team and there is now even a proper workshop!
Tracy
Tracy has perfected the art of packing. Those of you who have received a parcel from Tara’s Wonderworld will know that ours are special. Preparing an order to withstand the roughest of postman, wrapping it beautifully in pastel pink tissue paper or spraying a parcel with perfume, Tracy ensures that every single order is packed with love.
Audrey
Audrey is our amazing stock, fulfilment and banner queen. She prepares the products for each order and then with Tracy she packs the orders in tissue paper ready for despatch. A true jack of all trades, she also prepares balloon garlands, sculptures and our beautiful personalised banners. For the latter, she dons a pair of gloves to select each letter thus ensuring they arrive in pristine condition to make your celebration truly sparkle. Always smiling and ready to help she’s a much loved member of the team.
Fun fact – she loves anchovies.
Eva
Eva is our allrounder looking after our shiny new website and our Social Media. Her creative eye for design and experience in Digital Marketing makes her the perfect addiction to Tara’s Wonderworld!
